So you've written your novel, memoir or collection: what now? A traditional route that many authors take is through finding an agent to represent them, and liaise with publishers on your behalf. Finding an agent to represent you can be tough, especially if you've never even met one before! Here we've collected interviews with agents from some of the leading agencies in London and beyond, to help demystify the process of finding an agent and remind you that, behind the email account, they are human too.
We asked them about their preferences for submission, what it is that they look for in a manuscript, and how they like to work with their clients once they've got them on their list.
